Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio
A Lake Erie amusement resort with three children’s ride areas and a separate seasonal water park.
Cedar Point is far more than large roller coasters: Camp Snoopy, Planet Snoopy, and Kiddy Kingdom contain vehicle rides, flying rides, junior coasters, carousels, and PEANUTS experiences for younger children. Cedar Point Shores adds toddler splash areas, small slides, a lazy river, wave pool, and family water play, making the resort workable as a two-day trip for families with preschoolers when plans are organized by height.

Good to know
- Get every young child officially measured before choosing a children’s area; many key rides begin at 36 inches.
- A supervising companion is at least 54 inches tall, approximately age 14 or older, meets the ride criteria, and helps the child follow instructions.
- Cedar Point Shores requires aquatic diapers for guests who need diapers and permits only U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jackets.
- Ride availability, shows, height rules, hours, and water attractions can change because of weather, maintenance, and operating conditions.
- Use Rider Swap when adults or a taller sibling want an attraction the younger child cannot ride.
